According to manager Dusty Baker, Houston Astros Out Fielder Kyle Tucker is doing what he can to get back into game shape. He said that felt comfortable after taking some batting practice on Sunday. The Tampa Bay Florida native expects to be activated from the team’s injured reserved list today in the Astro’s first of a three game set against the Baltimore Orioles.
Tucker missed the last three games due to an upset stomach prior to resuming his workouts this past Friday.
At the time of his unexpected illness, the 24 year old superstar matched his career best .268 batting average along with smacking 13 home runs, 43 RBIs and 64 hits this season.
The Houston Astros enter this week with a record of 43-28. This is good enough for first place in the American League West standings.
